St. Clair Township ,MI : One person dead and another hurt in crash on M-29 on early Tuesday morning ,August 25th 2015

M-29 between Yankee Road and Davis Road is closed in St. Clair Township because of a head-on crash.

St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon said the crash happened just before 6 a.m. Tuesday on M-29 just north of Yankee Road.

One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not been released.

The other driver was taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.

Motorists travelling on M-29 northbound will be detoured onto Yankee Road.

Southbound drivers will be detoured onto Davis Road. They will be able to head west to Range Road and then re-connect onto M-29 either at Yankee or Davis.
