Albertville ,AL : 20- Years old Dylan Smith Gore killed and his friednd seriously injured i head-on dirt bike collision on Sunday ,April 19 2015

An Albertville man was killed Sunday afternoon and a friend was seriously injured in a head-on dirt bike collision.

AL.com news partner WHNT News 19 reported that the crash happened on private property off of Highway 431, near Buchanan Road. Cody Gene Holland and Dylan Smith Gore, both 20, were riding dirt bikes toward one another when each man swerved.

They swerved in the same direction, however, and struck one another head-on, the news station reported.

Hollad was pronounced dead at the scene. Gore was taken to Marshall Medical Center South before being airlifted to Huntsville Hospital.

His condition was not immediately available Monday morning.
