Parsippany, NJ : N.J. man killed after crashing into tractor-trailer parked on I-80 shoulder on Wednesday, 27th January 2021

A 55-year-old New Jersey man was killed Wednesday when he crashed into a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of Interstate 80.

Walter Pasuco was driving east just before 4:15 p.m. when hit the truck near milepost 40.4 in Parsippany, New Jersey State Police said. He was pronounced dead at Morristown Medical Center, Sgt. Philip Curry said.

The truck driver, who was seated in the cab, was not hurt.

The crash closed the right lane for about four hours and remains under investigation.
