ST. GEORGE, SC : Coroner identifies woman killed in Dorchester County crash on Friday, 4th October 2024
Saint George, South Carolina
The Dorchester County coroner released the name of a woman who died Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash.
Chris L. Kitt, 32, of St. George, died in the crash, which happened at approximately 4 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 15, about 10 miles south of St. George, Coroner Paul Brouthers said.
Investigators say Kitt’s vehicle struck another car then struck a dump truck.
Brouthers pronounced Kitt dead at the scene at 5:25 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office are investigating
