PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH : McKenzie dies in fatal crash on Saturday, July 1, 2017

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on London Road between Renick Road and Ridgeway Road in Darby Township, according to Sheriff Robert B. Radcliff.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:04 p.m. Saturday, July 1.

A 2006 Hyundai driven by Alesha McKenzie, 37, of Orient, was traveling southbound on London Road and went off the left side of the roadway, becoming airborne, and hitting a culvert. The car rolled, hitting a tree and a utility pole. The car then became engulfed in flames.She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pickaway County Coroner Dr. John Ellis.

Deputy James Brushart and Cpl. Stacey Eitel responded to the scene along with medics and fire department from Madison County.
