Bemidji, MN : Pine River man died in rollover crash on Minnesota 371 north of Pine River on Saturday, Nov 28, 2015

A Pine River man was killed over the weekend when his Chevrolet Silverado rolled over on Minnesota 371 north of Pine River.

Pine River is about 70 miles southeast of Bemidji.

Michael D. Kelly , 42, was southbound on the highway about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control, hit a sign and rolled several times into a ditch, according to a Minnesota State Patrol statement.

Kelly was ejected from the car. There were no passengers in the car, the release stated.

Icy conditions were not believed to be a cause for the crash.
