Valley Springs, AR : Three people injured in a three-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 65 near Valley Springs on Monday afternoon, April 18, 2016

Arkansas State Police say numerous people were injured in a three-vehicle crash just after noon Monday about a mile north of Valley Springs on U.S. Highway 65.

ASP Sgt. Matt Miller said Trooper Josh Valentin was still working Monday afternoon on the official police report on the wreck that involved a car and two church vans.
Miller said the car was southbound and the buses were northbound. The car apparently crossed into the northbound lanes, clipped the rear end of the first van and hit the second van head on.
At least three people, including the driver of the sedan, were airlifted from the scene and more than a dozen were injured, authorities said.
The official report requires documenting where each person was sitting in the two church vans.
