Two workers die in construction zone accident in northeast Nevada

Two construction workers died Tuesday afternoon in an accident on Interstate 80 in northeast Nevada and two others were injured.
Vicki Stenovich, 53, of Spring Creek died at the scene of the accident between Elko and Battle Mountain. Arthur Lucero, 47, of Gardnerville was injured and taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he died, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported.Worker Mario Ramos, 50, of Reno was taken to Renown and was in stable condition. A fourth worker, Karen Martin, 50, of Battle Mountain was taken to a Battle Mountain Hospital with minor injuries, the NHP said.
