Milwaukee, WI : Police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run crash on Milwaukee’s south side on Sunday, November 23, 2014

The second of two pedestrians struck by hit-and-run drivers on Milwaukee's near south side has died, Milwaukee police reported Monday. According to police, the 34-year-old man was struck about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at S. 2nd St. and W. National Ave. by a black, 2002 Audi Quattro that was traveling south on S. 2nd St. Police were searching for the driver Monday. About an hour before that pedestrian was struck, Alfredo De La O, 63, was killed when he was struck in the 900 block of S. Chavez Drive. A 49-year-old Milwaukee man who is suspected of driving the striking vehicle was arrested after witnesses helped police locate the vehicle on Chavez Drive, according to police.
