Bridgeport, CT : Head-on crash kills two on parkway on Sunday, February 5th 2017

Two New York women were killed early Monday in a head-on crash on the Wilbur Cross Parkway in New Haven, State Police said.
Both drivers were alone in their vehicles and traveling in the southbound lane, just beyond the West Rock Tunnel at 1:10 a.m. when the vehicles collided.
Erica Farland, 27, of Ossining, N.Y. was driving her 2015 Subaru Legacy northbound in the southbound lane, Trooper Timothy M. Ruppar said, when she struck the 2016 Audi being driven by Andrea Rossi, 53, of Long Island City, N.Y. head-on, the trooper wrote in his report.
Both women were treated at the scene for serious, life-threatening injuries and transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where they later died of their injuries.
