AURORA, CO : Motorcyclist seriously injured in Aurora crash on Monday, February 13th 2017

A man riding a motorcycle is in serious condition following a crash in Aurora Monday morning.

Police say a driver of a car turned left on a yellow light into the path of the northbound motorcyclist on North Airport Boulevard. The motorcyclist was thrown about a 100 feet.

The victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he is listed in serious condition.

The man driving the car was transported to the hospital as a precaution. Police say he is facing a careless driving citation.
