Tampa, FL : Brandon man dies days after car crash on Tuesday afternoon, September 16, 2014

An 88-year-old Brandon man has died of injuries he suffered in a Tuesday afternoon car crash, authorities said Friday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, John S. Brengle Jr. had stopped his Chevrolet Lumina at a stop sign on the Fletcher Avenue exit ramp from northbound Interstate 75. But he then made a turn into the path of a Mercedes-Benz driven by Shailaja Reddy, 47, of Tampa. Her car, traveling west on Fletcher Avenue, collided with his, seriously injuring them both. Brengle was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital and died Thursday, troopers said. Source : Brandon man dies days after car crash
