Fort Myers, FL : Fort Myers bicyclist dies in crash on Thursday, 7th May, 2020

A 62-year-old bicyclist died Thursday night after being struck by a sedan, Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The female bicyclist, of Fort Myers, was heading west on Penzance Boulevard near Musket Lane in Fort Myers, when a sedan driven by a 61-year-old Fort Myers woman struck her from behind, troopers said.

Troopers said Friday morning that the crash remains under investigation.

They didn't release any names in accordance with Marsy's Law.
