Lehigh Acres, FL : One person injured after a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Lehigh Acres on Thursday, April 7, 2016

A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Lehigh Acres sent one to the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to a witness on scene.

The bus had 10 elementary students and three adults on board.

The crash happened at the intersection of Olive Avenue North and 18th Street West just two blocks from Sunshine Boulevard North.

A plumbing company van ran a stop sign on 18th Street and struck the passenger side of the school bus, according to a witness.

The bus sustained damage to a large portion of the bottom side of the bus and broken entrance door windows.

As of now, only the adult bus aid is being transported, however some children are complaining of aches and pains, our witness says.
