Houston, TX : 1 dead in drunk driving accident on Westheimer early Saturday morning, February 25, 2017

An allegedly intoxicated driver collided with another car early Saturday morning, killing a passenger.
A man suspected of being drunk is accused of speeding southbound on the West Sam Houston Parkway around 3:30 a.m., when he ran the red light and collided with a Mercedes traveling eastbound on Westheimer.
The male passenger in the Mercedes died at the scene, and the female passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver, who was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition, faces intoxication manslaughter charges.
