JACKSONVILLE, FL : 14-year-old dead, 13-year-old hospitalized after LaVilla crash on Thursday, 7th December 2023

Two teenagers were involved in a LaVilla crash Thursday, in which one died, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO's Sergeant Hungerford says the crash happened around 12:49 p.m. in the 100 block of South Myrtle Street. He says a white minivan was northbound on Myrtle Street behind a dump truck. That's when the truck slowed down to make a right turn onto Harper Street.
