Bakersfield, CA : Passenger dies following crash on Highway 33 in Maricopa on Sunday, June 19, 2016

A 70-year-old woman died Sunday after she was involved in a crash on Highway 33 in Maricopa.

Denise Karen Dye, of Bakersfield, was pronounced dead at Kern Medical Center about two hours after the 10:55 a.m. crash, a coroner’s office release said. She was a passenger in a vehicle struck by another vehicle at Highway 33 and Soda Lake Road.
