Las Vegas ,NV : 40-year-old Gayle Menzie killed after crash while crossing Boulder Highway on Thursday afternoon ,August 20th 2015

Las Vegas authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed after being struck by a pickup truck on a busy stretch of Boulder Highway.

Saturday that Clark County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 40-year-old Gayle Menzie.

Investigators say Menzie was not in a crosswalk when she was crossing the intersection of Boulder Highway and Sandhill Road on Thursday afternoon.

Menzie was taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center but was pronounced dead.

The driver, 38-year-old Walter Restrepo of Sacramento, California, is not being charged.
