Charlottesville, VA: Albemarle crash kills motorist on Tuesday, July 21st 2015

One person is dead after a crash between a small pickup truck and a motorcycle on the U.S. 29-U.S. 250 Bypass at the Ivy Road exit, Albemarle police said.The crash occurred at about 3:15 p.m. in the north lanes of the bypass about a half-mile south of the Ivy Road ramps. It blocked the right north lane and shoulder.A police spokesman said one driver is dead but said exactly what happened remains under investigation. Police declined to identify anyone involved in the crash.The wreck was the second fatal crash in Albemarle in two days and the sixth in the county this year.
