JACKSONVILLE, FL : 1 dead after crash on I-295 East Beltway and State Road 9B on Saturday, 24th February 2024

A person is dead after a crash on the Interstate 295 East Beltway and State Road 9B early Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 2:20 a.m. on Saturday.

An FHP crash report indicates that two vehicles, a maroon Honda Accord and a white Nissan Altima, were driving next to each other heading north on I-295 nearing SR-9B when they collided.
