Woodstock, NY : 1 killed, 1 seriously injured in crash in the 16700 block of Nelson Road on Friday, 27th December, 2019

A single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in the 16700 block of Nelson Road in Woodstock killed a Capron man and left a Wonder Lake woman with serious injuries, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Lt. Nick Weir said crews were sent to the scene at 1:09 p.m. and found a vehicle had struck a tree.

The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office also was at the scene to investigate, and the McHenry Police Department assisted the Woodstock station, Weir said.
