Ash Flat, AR : Man killed, woman injured in motorcycle crash in Sharp County on Saturday, January 30, 2016

A motorcycle overturned after the driver lost control in Sharp County, killing him. That is according to a preliminary crash report by Arkansas State Police.

Police say Steven M. Recollet, 48, of Ash Flat, was heading east on Cherokee Road and Wabash Drive on Jan. 30.

At around 5:40 p.m., Recollet lost control of his Harley Davidson, over corrected and flipped.

He died from the crash.

Suzanne R. Stone, 46, of Bentonville, was riding with Recollet and was injured in the crash.

Crews took Stone to the White River Medical Complex to be treated for her injuries.

No word on how serious her injuries were.

The report states the road was dry and the weather conditions were clear at the time of the crash.
