Brookings, SD : Woman injured in 3-vehicle crash in south of Brookings on Thursday, April 7, 2016

Rachel Wimmer, 21, of Brookings, was injured in a three-vehicle accident around 4:24 p.m. Thursday at 472nd Avenue and 217th Street about 2 miles south of Brookings, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.

Wimmer was driving a 2013 Mazda 3 southbound on 472nd Avenue and did not stop for the stop sign at 217th Street. Wimmer’s vehicle collided with a 2002 Cadillac Deville driven by Debora Sanvold, 58, of Brookings that was traveling eastbound on 217th Street.
