Fort Myers, FL : Deputy transported after 2-vehicle crash in Fort Myers on Monday, 5th August 2024

Authorities are investigating a crash involving an off-duty deputy at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Flint Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash late Monday involved two vehicles, including an SUV and an off-duty Collier County deputy.

Both drivers sustained injuries that were determined to be not life-threatening and were transported to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
