Monessen, PA : Washington, Pa., man killed in a crash on I-79 in North Strabane near Canonsburg early Saturday, February 4, 2017

A Washington, Pa., man was killed early Saturday when his vehicle struck the rear end of a semi-trailer on I-79 in North Strabane near Canonsburg.

Stephen Michael Weber, 64, was driving south on I-79 when he crashed into the truck at about 1 a.m., according to the Washington County Coroner's Office. He was pronounced dead at 1:50 a.m.

Weber was not wearing his seatbelt, the coroner reported. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
