WARROAD, MN : Woman killed in a head-on collision on Tuesday, October, 31st 2017
An International Falls, Minn., woman killed in a head-on collision southeast of Warroad last week has been identified.
Linda Kay Boes-Bernard was killed when her 2000 Nissan SUV collided head on with a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a cattle trailer at 6:51 p.m. on Oct. She was 59.
The crash occurred on Roseau County Road 2, just east of Roseau County Road 5, according to the Sheriff's Office. Boes-Bernard was westbound and the Ram, driven by 54-year-old Timmy Madoll, was eastbound at the time of the crash.
Madoll and his passenger, 49-year-old Kathleen Poole, both of Williams, Minn., were sent to LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau for treatment.
Boes-Bernard was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Roseau County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol are continuing to investigate the crash.
