JEFFERSON CITY, MO : Car crash near Missouri River Bridge closes lane on Saturday, November, 25th 2017

Jefferson City Fire Department responded to an injury accident on Highway 54 westbound Saturday night.
The single injury crash occurred westbound near the Missouri River Bridge. According to Jefferson City Police, the investigation revealed that the driver of a 2006 Nissan Sentra was exiting the ramp from Highway 63 southbound onto Highway 54 westbound.
Driver Catheryn Perkins lost control and ran off the right side of the roadway. She struck a guardrail and then crossed three lanes of traffic, running off the left side of the roadway striking the concrete barrier.
The 48-year-old was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries. Her car suffered extensive damage.
