JACKSONVILLE, FL : Driver dies after car crashes, catches fire on I-295 northbound near State Road 9B on Saturday, 24th February 2024

A person driving a Honda Accord died early Saturday following a crash that ended with the car catching fire on Interstate 295 northbound in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP incident report, the driver of the Accord was traveling on I-295 northbound, approaching State Road 9B, around 2:20 a.m.
