CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC : Portion of Hwy 162 closed in Charleston Co. after driver, dog killed in car accident on Monday, 28th December 2020

One person and a dog has died in a two-vehicle accident in Charleston County Monday night.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said it happened on Highway 162 near New Road in Hollywood around 7:10 p.m.
Capt. Roger Antonio with the sheriff’s office said the driver and a dog in one vehicle died, while the occupant of the other vehicle did not request medical transport.
Highway 162 is currently closed in the area.
