DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO : Highway 83 back open following crash south of Franktown on Monday, 24th June 2024

A serious crash had a busy Colorado highway closed Monday morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation announced Highway 83 was closed in both directions south of Franktown. The crash was about five miles south of Franktown.

The crash was cleared by 11:34 a.m. and the highway was back open at that time.
