Georgia, VT : Driver killed in rollover crash on interstate 89 Saturday afternoon, February 4, 2017

The driver of a car has been killed in a rollover crash in Vermont.

State police say Adam Desrochers was traveling north on Interstate 89 Saturday afternoon in the town of Georgia when his car went off the road and hit a guardrail. The car flipped over the guardrail and ended up back on the interstate after rolling over several times.

State police say the 35-year-old Swanton man was not wearing a seatbelt. He was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say it appears that speed was a factor in the crash. They continue to investigate.
