Louisville, KY : 1 killed in motorcycle crash on River Road on Saturday, October 29, 2016

One man is dead after a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Zorn Avenue and River Road this weekend.

The driver of the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on River Road around 10 p.m. Saturday when a car in the westbound lane made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, and the vehicles crashed.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to University Hospital and died as a result of his injuries early Sunday morning.

The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
