Hyde Park, VT : Single-car accident sent a little girl to a hospital on Saturday afternoon August 30th 2014

A single-car accident sent a little girl to a hospital, police said. The Lamoille County Sheriff's Department, Hyde Park Fire Department and Northern Emergency Services responded to Hyde Park, Vermont, for a reports of a single-car crash Saturday afternoon. Police said the car was traveling west on Battle Row Road when it crossed over into the eastbound lane and veered off the road, striking a tree. The 7-year-old girl was airlifted to the Fletcher Allen for treatment. There has been no word on whether the driver received any treatment.
