CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO : 2 injured in crash at Penny Ave.-Anna St. intersection in Cape Girardeau on Sunday, 9th July 2023

Two people were transported to a local hospital Sunday, July 9 after a crash in Cape Girardeau.

Around 7:15 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Penny Avenue and Anna Street.

According to Cape Girardeau Police, the vehicle turning left onto Penny Ave. from Anna Street failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle and was hit.

The crash sent two people to the hospital, both from the vehicle turning onto Penny Ave.
