Los Angeles, CA : One person dead and two others injured after 2 vehicles crash, fire in San Fernando Valley on Tuesday, March 17, 2015

The Los Angeles Fire Department says one person is dead and two others are injured after a two-vehicle traffic collision and fire in the San Fernando Valley.

Department spokesman Shawn Lenske says one person injured in the collision late Tuesday morning was taken to a hospital and another person was treated and released at the scene. Both are adults.

There's no immediate information about the person who was killed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
