Mesa, AZ : Motorcycle driver killed in Mesa crash on Friday morning June 27th 2014

Police say a motorcyclist was killed after colliding with another vehicle in Mesa on Friday morning.

A witness and evidence led police to believe the motorcycle driver was speeding east on University Drive when the driver ran into the front passenger side of a vehicle turning left into a private driveway at 9229 E. University about 7:20 a.m., according to the Mesa Police Department.The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver's identity has not been released at this time.
