Tampa, FL : Tampa man dies after crashing car into tree on Early friday morning

A 21-year-old driver lost control of his car, hit an oak tree and died early Friday morning in Tampa, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies said.

Lloyd Jong Yi, of Tampa, was driving his 2007 Honda going east on Linebaugh Avenue at about 70 miles per hour. He lost control of the car and hit the tree in the median, according to the HCSO report.

The man died at the scene. Deputies didn't release any information if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

They continue to investigate.
