Kearney, NE : Woman dies in two-vehicle accident south of Cozad on Monday September 19 2016

A Cozad woman died in a two-vehicle fatality Monday night.
Just after 7:35 p.m., the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the accident at Road 751 and state Highway 21, Lt. Tucker Case said.
The accident was about 10 miles south of Cozad.
A 2005 GMC Yukon driven by Monte Robertson, 64, of Cozad, was struck by a 1998 Saturn four-door driven by Hailey Boutin, 19, of Eustis.
Robertson’s passenger, Mary Robertson, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene, Case said. Monte Robertson was transported to Cozad Community Hospital and later taken by medical helicopter to CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. Boutin was taken to Cozad Community Hospital with nonlife threatening injuries, Case said.
The Nebraska State Patrol, Eustis Fire Department and Dawson County Attorney’s Office also responded.
