Lauderdale County, AL : Deputy Austin Bradley Hill, 24, injured in single-vehicle crash on County Road 139 in Lauderdale County on Saturday night, Aug 8, 2015

Saturday night a Lauderdale County deputy was in a single-vehicle crash.

According to officials, at 8:45 p.m. 24-year-old Deputy Austin Bradley Hill's 2011 Ford Crown Vic left County Road 139 and struck a tree.

Officials say that Hill was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. Hospital officials said Hill is in good condition. He is currently listed in the surgical intensive care unit.

The cause of this crash is still under investigation. Sheriff Rick Singleton said his department has received numerous complaints about drug activity on CR 139 where the wreck happened. He said Hill was patrolling in the area at the time of the crash.

Law enforcement and volunteer fire departments in the area are showing their support for Hill. Prayers for Hill and his family have also flooded social media.
