Jacksonville ,FL : 23- years old Christoper Mixson killed after he hit something with his car on late Thursday night ,June 4th 2015

A 23-year-old man died after a crash on Beaver Street in Northwest Jacksonville late Thursday night has died, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred on Beaver Street at Superior Street before 10 p.m.

Police said Christoper Mixson hit something with his car. He was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he died.

The area of Beaver Street and McDuff Avenue was closed while police investigated the crash.
