Two Harbors,MN : Head-on crash kills Two Harbors man in Lake County on December, Friday 22nd 2017

A 39-year-old Two Harbors man was killed Friday in a two-car crash in Silver Creek Township in Lake County.

Jason Paul Wilkes was driving a 1993 Honda Accord north on Hwy. 61 near Crow Creek when he collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.

Police say ice and snow on the roads could have been a contributing factor in the crash. Wilkes was not wearing a seatbelt. The accident was reported at 8:18 a.m. Minnesota State Patrol records show.

Eric Karl Moschet, 53, of Eden Prairie, was driving the other vehicle, a 2018 GMC Sierra. He was transported to Lakeview Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
