Pine Bluff, AR : 2 die in fiery 3-vehicle crash in Arkansas on Saturday, July 5, 2014
Arkansas State Police say two men were killed in a fiery three-vehicle collision at Pine Bluff and two Pine Bluff police officers suffered minor injuries when their patrol cars collided as they responded to the crash.
An ASP report says 18-year-old Caleb Spaulding of Montrose and 20-year-old Aaron Durham of Rison died following the crash just after 11 p.m. Saturday.
The report says a northbound pickup truck driven Durham crossed the centerline of U.S. 63 and collided head-on with a southbound pickup driven by Spaulding. A car then crashed into Spaulding's truck and the truck caught fire.
A passenger in Spaulding's truck was hospitalized in unknown condition while two people in the car were uninjured.
Police say two officers responding to the crash collided their patrol cars on Interstate 530. Their names were not released.
