Ellicott, CO : A woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash at North Baggett Road and Highway 94 onTuesday, April 26th, 2016

A woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash outside Ellicott Tuesday.

The woman was taken to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, according to Colorado State Patrol spokesman Nathaniel Reid. She is 18, a patrolman said.A medical helicopter was called to the crash but was later canceled, according to

Ellicott Fire Department Chief Michael Henley.

The crash was reported around 7:39 a.m. at North Baggett Road and Highway 94, patrol said. The woman was driving a Ford Explorer north on Baggett Road when she went off of the right side of the road, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle,

patrol said.

Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash, a patrolman said.

An investigation is ongoing.
