METHUEN, MA : Bicyclist, 58, killed in collision with truck on I-495 ramp on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

Massachusetts State Police say a man on a motorized bicycle was killed in a collision with a truck on an Interstate 495 ramp in Methuen (mih-THOO'-uhn).

Police say the crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday when the bicycle left the sidewalk and moved into the roadway, hitting the passenger side of the truck.

Police say 58-year-old Thomas Fazio, of Methuen, died at the scene. The driver, whose name has not been released, stayed and cooperated with officers.

The death remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
