Fremont, N.H : Hampstead woman hurt in Fremont crash on Saturday afternoon, May 17, 2014

A 25-year-old Hampstead woman was airlifted to a Boston hospital after her pickup truck crashed into a tree on Route 111A Saturday afternoon.

According to state police, Kimberly A. Smith was passing on a double-yellow line when she lost control of her pickup and crashed.

Smith sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, police said. She was in serious condition there last evening, according to a hospital spokesman.

Route 111A was closed for about three hours while police investigated the crash, which happened around 1:15 p.m.
