Aurora, CO : Officer taken to hospital as precaution after two-vehicle Aurora crash Friday night on September 12, 2014

A police officer in Aurora was taken to the hospital as a precaution Friday night after a car struck his patrol vehicle, police said. The accident happened near the intersection of Sable Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue, according to Sgt. Chris Amsler. A vehicle turned left into the officer's path, allegedly causing the accident. The occupants of the vehicle that turned into the patrol car's path were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
