Perry Twp ,FL : 18-year-old Paje Heindl killed and Mowen injured on Friday afternoon ,August 28th 2015

Family and friends of Nathan Mowen, 17, held a prayer vigil this afternoon at Miami Vally Hospital.
Mowen, of New Lebanon, was airlifted to the hospital on Friday after he and two others were injured in a crash on Wolf Creek Pike in Perry Twp. The crash killed the driver, 18-year-old Paje Heindl.
Mowen is in critical condition, said his mother, Debby Mowen, who said her son has a brain injury, chest trauma and other serious injuries. Mowen said the next hurdle for her son is for him to regain consciousness so doctors can assess is cognitive ability.
“It could go either way,” she said.
Family and friends planned to visit Nathan Mowen in ICU following the vigil.
Heindl was a 2015 graduate of Tri County North High School, according to an obituary posted online.
She participated in bowling and softball at school and also worked at Wendy’s in Brookville.
