Blue Mounds ,WI : 22- Years old woman killed and another two injured in Crash after truck struck a car that failed to stop at a stop sign along U.S. Highway 151 on Sunday Morning ,April 5th 2015

The medical examiner has identified a 22-year-old woman killed Sunday when a truck struck a car that failed to stop at a stop sign.

Deputies and emergency crews were called to U.S. Highway 151 and County Road F in the village of Blue Mounds at 12:15 a.m. on a report of a fatal two-vehicle crash, according to a release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said the car was traveling south on County Road F, failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 151 and was struck by a westbound pickup.

The driver of the car, Ashley M. Schill, of Lodi, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the car were flown to UW Hospital in Madison with serious injuries. The driver of the truck, Michael Klarer, 56, of Barneveld, and his passenger, Patricia Klarer, 54, of Barneveld, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Barneveld Fire and EMS, Mt Horeb Fire and EMS and UW Med Flight assisted at the scene.

Traffic on Highway 151 was affected until just before 7 a.m. Sunday, according to an alert from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
