Two people in a pick up truck suffered serious injuries in a crash on Interstate 85 on Saturday morning.
According to the Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 2:30 am between mile markers 75 and 76 in Salisbury.
Both speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, according to troopers.
The victims were taken to the hospital. Names and conditions have not been released.
The interstate was closed for more than an hour on Saturday morning but has since reopened.
