Bakersfield,CA : Boy killed in two-car collision on LA freeway on may, saturday 6th 2017
The California Highway Patrol says a 10-year-old boy was killed in a weekend crash on a Los Angeles freeway transition road.
The CHP says the two-vehicle collision occurred late Saturday on the connector from southbound Interstate 405 to eastbound Interstate 105.
Investigators say the driver of an SUV made an "unsafe turning movement" and smashed into a sedan with four occupants pulled over on the shoulder.
The driver and two passengers in the sedan suffered minor injuries. The third passenger, the boy, was seriously injured and died at a hospital.
The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/2qJtBDo) alcohol and drugs were not thought to have played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation Monday.
